So last night unfortunately my landlord’s were SOO loud till the wee hours of the morning. I am also not a morning person or a coffee person. As my fellow mice can attest to I am very grumpy when tired.
So here are my Tips to stay awake at work
- Drink anything with caffeine or sugar. Now this could be coffee, tea, red bull, hot chocolate, a can of coke, apple juice, or my personal favorite peppermint tea with loads of sugar.
- Do some exercise. Exercise = endorphins and endorphins = more alert.
- DO NOT TURN THE LIGHTS OFF IN YOUR OFFICE.
- Plug those headphones in and turn on some uptempo music (EDM, Pop, Hip Hop). Whatever floats your boat.
- Repeat step one.
- Don’t overeat . We all know what happens when you eat too much zzzzzzzzzzzz…..
- Get your co workers to call your phone every 10 minutes to make sure your awake. Well just kidding but sometimes it may be needed.
- Have a nap at lunch!
